Partners are organizations that provide a service site and host volunteers on Service Raleigh Day. Please contact the Partners Committee if you have any questions.
Please note that Partners are expected to host volunteers on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Volunteers will arrive at the site at or around 9 AM and projects typically last around 3 hours.
Service Raleigh is a public, secular organization which does not permit a partner's project to incorporate overtly religious activity (i.e. praying, evangelizing) in volunteer responsibilities. We wish to accommodate a diverse demographic of volunteers, and want to ensure an appropriate and enjoyable experience for everyone. However, we happily welcome religiously affiliated organizations to register. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the partners committee at firstname.lastname@example.org
Site leaders are responsible for communicating with all of the volunteers assigned to their site, the partner, handing out t-shirts, coordinating transportation, and leading a meaningful conversation about service after the completion of the service project.
The site leader applications are closed.
Volunteers complete service projects at partner sites on Service Raleigh Day. You can participate as an individual or as a group. Please contact the Community Involvement Committee if you have questions. Specific registration related questions should be directed to the Co-chairs.
Volunteer Registration for Service Raleigh 2017 is closed. We have reached maximum capacity unexpectedly early this year. See you on April 1st!
“Our mission is to address the needs of our community, to foster a sense of community spirit, and to inspire our volunteers to a lifetime of involvement in public service.”
