Partners are organizations that provide a service site and host volunteers on Service Raleigh Day. Please contact the Partners Committee if you have any questions.
Please note that partners are expected to host volunteers on Saturday, April 17th, 2021. Volunteers will arrive at the site at or around 9 AM and projects typically last around 3 hours. The project site needs to be within 30 minutes of Talley Student Union on NC State's Campus.
Service Raleigh is a public, secular organization which does not permit a partner's project to incorporate overtly religious activity (i.e. praying, evangelizing) in volunteer responsibilities. We wish to accomodate a diverse demographic of volunteers, and want to ensure an appropriate and enjoyable experience for everyone. However, we happily welcome religiously affiliated organizations to register. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com.
COVID-19 Changes: This year, we are accepting partners with indoor, outdoor, or virtual projects. For in person projects, we require that all participants wear masks at service sites and remain socially distanced while volunteering. We also ask that partners consider gathering limits when indicating how many volunteers they can accept. If you have any questions about these or other requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline to register as a partner is Friday, March 5th, 2021.
As a Site Leader you have the opportunity to develop a more personal relationship with the organizations you will be volunteering with. You will be serving as the connection between the organizations and the volunteers you will be leading.
Site leaders are responsible for communicating with all of the volunteers assigned to their site, the partner, handing out t-shirts, coordinating transportation, and leading a meaningful conversation about service after the completion of the service project.
If you have any questions about the position or the registration form, contact us at email@example.com.
The deadline to apply as a Site Leader is Saturday, March 27th, 2020.
Volunteers complete service projects at partner sites on Service Raleigh Day. You can participate as an individual or as a group. You will be placed in one of our partner locations and have the opportunity to serve the community. Unsure of your April 17th plans? No problem, register to volunteer, reserve the date and if anything magically pops up let us know.
What are the perks of being a Service Raleigh volunteer? First, you get to be a part of an NC State tradition. Second, you get to help bring together the community in the biggest student led service event of the Triangle. Third, you get a free t-shirt, snacks, and fun. Fourth, by regsitering, you'll be entered in a giveaway to win one of three prizes: Keurig, smartwatch, or Airpods!
If you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline to apply as a volunteer is Wednesday, March 31st, 2021.
