Service Raleigh

Partners

Partners are organizations that provide a service site and host volunteers on Service Raleigh Day. Please contact the Partners Committee if you have any questions.

Please note that partners are expected to host volunteers on Saturday, April 4th, 2020. Volunteers will arrive at the site at or around 9 AM and projects typically last around 3 hours. The project site needs to be within 30 minutes of Talley Student Union on NC State's Campus.

Service Raleigh is a public, secular organization which does not permit a partner's project to incorporate overtly religious activity (i.e. praying, evangelizing) in volunteer responsibilities. We wish to accommodate a diverse demographic of volunteers, and want to ensure an appropriate and enjoyable experience for everyone. However, we happily welcome religiously affiliated organizations to register. If you have questions, please email partners@serviceraleigh.org.

The deadline to register as a partner is Saturday, February 22, 2020.

The registration form will remain open for confirmed partners through Friday, February 28.

Site Leaders

As a Site Leader you have the opportunity to develop a more personal relationship with the organizations you will be volunteering with. You will be serving as the connection between the organizations and the volunteers you will be leading.

Site leaders are responsible for communicating with all of the volunteers assigned to their site, the partner, handing out t-shirts, coordinating transportation, and leading a meaningful conversation about service after the completion of the service project.

If you have any questions about the position or the registration form, contact us at siteleaders@serviceraleigh.org

The deadline to apply as a Site Leader is Saturday, March 14th, 2020.
